Grey's Deer Hunt
It looked like a good day to see deer. The wind was blowing in the right direction as I walked down the dirt road. Tall skinny pine trees, fallen logs, dead grass, and weeds were on either side of the road. I saw lots of deer tracks in the road. I could tell whether the tracks were old or new. If pine needles were smushed in the deer track, then the track was pretty fresh. If pine needles were sticking up out of the track, then the track was old. I also passed deer poop lying in the road as I walked to the stand. After I climbed up in the stand, I looked around and saw a big pond with cat-tails around it and a food plot right beside it. I thought this would be a good spot to hunt. After sitting in the stand for about two hours without hearing, smelling, or seeing any deer, the sun went down and I had to leave. It was not a good hunting day after all.

Ely's Deer Hunt
I went to hunt with Daddy. We got out of the truck and walked down a red clay road. We saw a bunch of deer tracks. We got to the deer stand. It was green and it had camoflage on the arms. We climbed up the ladder and got in the stand. We were sitting in the stand and we heard this limb crack. Then Dad shot at a doe and he missed. Then we went to go look for it. We walked into a ditch and I tripped and got hit by a branch. I had a good time with Daddy.

Ely's Friend Story
Fun With Friends
I went to Mrs. Bobitt's house and played with my friends. Kaitlyn is very nice. She likes to play with Grey and me. Me and Madaline like to play fun games on the trampoline and play tether-ball with each other. We all went biking around the loop. It was very windy and the wind slowed us down. It was cold and sunny. I felt happy around my friends.

Grey's Christmas Tree Story
As I sit on my comfy couch drinking warm spiced tea and petting my dog, I look at my Christmas tree. It is green and it's multicolored lights blink and play Christmas music. It's ornaments are different shapes and sizes. Some are snowmen and some are elves. Shiny colorful balls and candy canes also hang on it's branches. There is a gold star on top of the tree. It reminds me of the star that led the shepherds and the wisemen to Jesus on the day of his birth. There is also an angel on the tree that my brother made from a white paper plate and decorated with crayons and glitter. It reminds me of the angels who told the shepherds about Jesus. I have seen lots of nice Christmas trees. Some are tall and some are short, some are fat and some are skinny, but I think that my tree is the perfect Christmas tree because it represents my family and my Savior.
