Catch-up Post
This is going to be kind of a catch-up post...
I've neglected to update this when I've had some pictures, so here's a few to get back up-to-date.
Grey with his pet snake that he's had for about 6 weeks. It is a ball python. It is very timid, not aggressive, and will not bite. It spends almost all of it's time under a rock in it's enclosure and so is actually not visible most of the time. When nervous or afraid it will curl up in a tight ball and hide it's head. I repeat... it will not bite. It will never grow to be a very large snake.
Ely with his first dove that he ever shot. (Early last week, I think.) He actually shot it with a BB gun here at the house while practicing his spot and stalk technique. It didn't kill the dove, so he decided to keep it as a pet. He was keeping it in a dog kennel and feeding it and taking care of it until last Thursday when he went outside to check on it and caught Sherman in the act of chewing it's head off through the wires. Poor Ely was beside himself and poor Sherman felt the wrath of that for the rest of the day!
Here's my football player catching a pass during warm-up before the game last Thursday. I have tried and tried to get a picture during the game.... it's just too dark by the time they finally start playing... and from way up in the bleachers my pictures all turn out blurry. So this was the best that I could do. He's had a good season and has gotten to play a lot which makes the games much more enjoyable.
IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN....
PIG SEASON!
We welcomed 7 little piggies into our barn Sunday. We have 3 little polka dotted pigs this year which are cute and different. They were all kind of shaken up after the trip, but seem to be settling in nicely. Thought the picture of the pig sitting in the bowl was funny.
what would a post on my blog be without pictures of my cute doggies and my crazy cat. Ely took the pictures of the cat relaxing in the sun one morning while we were doing schoolwork.... thought they turned out well.
