Rosanne

"Some things in life are hard to do
But they can seem easier with two.
With courage and love and God's help too
Together we can make it through.

You are not alone.
And I'm not on my own.
Together we're united by the love God has shown.

And I'll be there for you
Like you'll be there for me.
We're strong and undivided finding courage in unity."

..........................................................................................

Tears streamed down both our cheeks as I hugged my friend goodbye today.

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

A Bible verse that, until this week, has been reserved in my brain for deaths, depression or things like that. I don't think that I ever associated it with friendships before.

I do now.

Through my tears and exposed emotions, I have felt my heart break. For months I've known this day was coming. I protected my heart.

Denial.

It doesn't last forever.

Love does though.

I love you, my friend.

Comments:
I, too, have been forever blessed by the Mascarenhas family. You're pretty special yourself, Cindy! I love you! Laurel

One thing that I have learned through this is that it is one thing to hurt, but another thing to watch your children hurt. Watching Josh say goodbye to Jack, and hugging him (Josh) afterward while we both cried was incredibly hard. Yes, some things are easier with two, but when the other person is my child, I just wish I could keep him from hurting.

Hey,
Just thought I would let you know I have pictures up from the wedding! It was so much fun, I wish I could have seen yall there!
Love you!
Maegan
